Really just wanted to wish everyone a happy Labor Day Weekend, but got a late reminder that general sale of tickets for the upcoming season at George Street Playhouse go on sale Sept. 4. I missed Klugmanthere last year but got to interview him in advance. Very sweet guy. I mentioned my dad had the same throat cancer as him and he was full of questions and sympathy. He also told me at the time his cancer had recurred elsewhere, but obviously he's coping well. And be assured, he doesn't need to work (especially at these rates), so this is about the joy of the craft.
